• euh...too many to name but include Neil Sedaka (first time I learned harmonies) and Holly Cole (first time I decided to explore singing professionally).

LEEANN

When and why did you start playing music?
• I have been singing since I was 5 years old. I took my career as singer more seriously at 8 years old when I discovered Elton John’s, Captain Fantastic and The
Brown Dirt Cowboy. I knew then I would sing after putting that album on repeat for a few years.

When did you first hear of Steely Dan?
• In my teens at some point

What do you find most appealing about their music?
The complexity of it intrigued me

What are your three favourite Steely Dan songs?
• Kid Charlemagne, Peg and Josie

How did you become part of Glamour Profession?
• I was invited by David Bolton

What do you get out of playing Steely Dan music?
I love a challenge in doing complex harmonies that are cool and catchy!

What do you hope others will get out of the Glamour Profession listening experience?
• I hope people see that the band really digs the music and that our performances reflect that.

What's your unique gift to Glamour Profession?
My good looks and personality ;). Seriously though, according to David, I bring a "soulful sound" to the band.

What three living beings from the past, present, or fictional would you like to have dinner with and why?
• Dr. Doolittle because he speaks our language
• A bitch in heat – do we have to explain why?
• Anyone who brings an endless supply of treats, toys, and smelly stuff to roll in

What are your greatest pet peeves?
• Bath time
• Porcupines

• Ozzie: attracting bitches within a radius of 1,000 km
• Oscar: mark my territory covering an area with a 1,000 km radius

• “Are you going to eat that?”
